Targetted weight loss is quite hard, some would say impossible, but I shed 2 inches from my waistline by following the tips and tricks on the website in the box below. Give it a try, their information is very down to earth!

I worked for a plastic surgeon for 2 years. He did a few tummy tucks on women who only needed to shed a few pounds and main concern was stretch marks. It was rare though, he was an honest plastic surgeon and was quick to tell people when he thought weight loss would help first, which is not something people want to hear, especially when visiting a plastic surgeon.

Tummy tucks can cost anywhere between $5,000.00 (his price in Baltimore, MD) – $8,000.00, not including hospital costs.

If you have stretch marks, know that there IS NO cure for that. I learned from him that there is no permanent fix-all for that except surgery, to literally cut the stretch marks out.

I would recommend getting a consult with a plastic surgeon and really listening to what he says, asking about weight loss vs. surgery. However, 138 at 5’4 I do not think is considered overweight at all. It sounds more like you are simply disgusted with the stretch marks and for that, perhaps a tummy tuck might help.

    Hope this helps!
