tummy tuck and back surgery at the same time?
Bycan u have a tummy tuck and lower back surgery at the same time
I have a herniated disc in my back with a tear in it that is leaking spinal fluid. they say that I should have surgery as soon as possible, I have already tried several other things. I also had an emergency c-section about two years ago with my son. I would like to have the tummy tuck while im in for the back surgery. Is this possible>

I don’t think so…but you shouldnt trust me.

Exactly what type of procedures are you considering? Are they both minimally invasive? At any rate, I don’t think I would try it; I think the back surgery alone would be enough. My husband has had two back surgeries. With the first surgery, he was off work for about 6 months, and had to use a walker to walk with for the first month following surgery. With the second surgery, he was able to walk (very slowly) without a walker immediately after surgery, but was off work for about 4 months following surgery. Check with your surgeon and follow his/her advice.
