Tendinitis wrist surgery?

I maybe in need of the surgery, my wrist has gotten worse and worse. I was wondering if it’s a simple out patient or if I’ll have to stay a little bit at the hospital? There is no further information anywhere on the internet, so I figured I’d end up asking here.
