i need to get an operation on my hymen as i have done research and i gather that i have a cribriform hymen and need to get a minor operation to cut away the excess tissue. would this be considered a “cosmetic surgery”? i have trouble having sex as it hurts, losing my virginity was beyond painful and sometimes when i put tampons in its hard to take them out….
im 15 years old, have not yet spoken to a doctor or my parents about this, i just wish to get as much information as possible.

me and my mom are a little confused. we were in a car accident about a year ago. the insurance company finally agrees on an amount. well, let me just show you what the letter says from out lawyer. it says:
dear mrs. leblanc,
we have received offers to settle your case for the policy limits from both the liability carrier and the UIM carrier. after paying all of your expenses, attorney’s fees, unpaid medical and the Cigna lien, this would clear you about $ 15,000. Upon receipt of this letter please contact my office to discuss the settlement of your case.
she called his office, but he wasn’t in. she talked to his assistant. my mom asks “so this is the amount AFTER i get my surgeries?” and she said “no.” so this means that my mom has to pay for a $ 12,000 knee surgery and a $ 6,000 nose job since her nose was broken out of THAT??!! this would mean that she would have to pay thousands of dollars out of HER POCKET and get ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN AND SUFFERING MONEY???????? is this the deal or no?
btw, the driver was a kid without his license driving his dad’s truck. if that helps with anything…
we know we have to pay the lawyer. we knew that he wasn’t free. we just don’t why the other people’s insurance isn’t going to cover what THEY did to my mother. and WE end up thousands in the hole for what THEY did????? does this make ANY SENSE???

Your insurance company is only going to pay to the limits of the policy you chose. Since you decided to employ a lawyer to work with your insurance company you have to pay the lawyer out of the settlement.
You can still sue the driver of the other vehicle (and perhaps his father) for the amount your insurance did not cover.
However, you should know all of this as you have a lawyer.
If thier insurance is paying, again they will only pay to the mlimits of ther policy. You can sue the driver and his father for any additional money you are out

One family member is having a surgery soon and he’ll have a health test days before applying the anesthesia. All I want to know is what kind of problems may appear on the test provoking to cancel the surgery?

I’m not an anesthesiologist and I don’t know the situation, but my guess would be his doctor wants to know what his levels are before the surgery so they know where he’s at and make sure safe to operate. also want to know if he gets back to normal after surgery.
