Has anyone had wrist their wrist or arm broken? If you go into the er do u get to keep your clothes on..or do you have to change into one of those gowns what about if u need wrist surgery..? Just a random question i had..
neither you wear no clothes
When you have surgery you need to wear a gown.
No my friend. All they do is do an X-Ray, and cast it up. No worries. =]
At some point the wrist and arm must be exposed for evaluation, X-ray, and if possible casting.
In the event the wrist requires a surgical reduction, then yes the gown will be worn by the patient. Don’t worry, the patient is always treated with respect.
You keep your clothes on, all they have to do it X-ray it, and it’s not like you have to take your clothes off for them to do that (or put a cast on)
Yep your cloths are on at all times. All they do is x-ray your arm and then they will put a cast on it. Oh and there’s a lot of waiting between all of that. Just make sure you don’t have long sleeves on caus sometimes you cant get your shirt off once the cast goes on.
