My wrist was fractured in a car accident. I recently hired a personal injury lawyer to handle my case. I have had to have surgery as a result of the accident. How much money should I get from the lawsuit?
The other party was a 72 year old woman and she was at fault. Her insurance deemed my vehicle a total loss. I have taken pictures of my injuries which were backed by doctors connect the injuries to the accident
I was the driver. She was going west bound I was going east was at a traffic light with red arrow to turn left my arrow turned green I proceeded to turn left. I had a witness the person behind me who gave their statement about what happened along with their contact information
different states different money/check the laws
Without details of the accident, we can’t tell you. Who was at fault? Were you driving or a passenger? How did the accident happen? Have you heard from either insurance company?
Legally you’re entitled to payment of your medical bills and maybe wage loss, but that depends heavily on who was responsible for the accident, and you didn’t tell us that. Don’t expect to hit the lottery on it, though, and remember that the attorney usually gets 1/3 of what you win.
