    You should have milk for breakfast along with your biscuits. It’s healthier. Have something more like noodles or rice in a small portion for lunch. Fruits are only meant to be a snack. Same for dinner. Stick to the salad, but have a little something more like fish or meat or rice or something.

    About the dancing, hydrate yourself well. And it’s not good to exercise right after your meal. Take a break for 5 min after your meal and start. And you should try 1.5h a day, once in the morning, once in the night, once in the afternoon.

    Your aim is a body like SNSD’s… Which one? Because of your height I think you’re trying to aim for Sooyoung’s kind of body (she’s about your height). Not impossible. Keep trying, although you MIGHT take longer than you anticipated.

    Dance videos? Sure!

    And trust me, SNSD DID NOT have plastic surgery. Well, at least Taeyeon didn’t. She and her mom was very hurt when she heard the rumours. People say so as she looks different from her pre-debut pics, but your appearance changing is part of growing up!

    You’re so very lucky to be that weight I’m just dying to be your weight! I’m 13 too, but I’m 1.6m tall and 75kg! T_T :’(

    Anyway, if you’re very good at dancing and you’re a die-hard fan of SNSD, I suggest trying out for the weekly SM auditions if you live in Korea or near LA in USA.     You’re 13, you’re hitting puberty. You should wait till you grow to your maximum height before deciding to do that. And you’re starving yourself which is not healthy for someone going through puberty. If you want to lose weight, eat healthily and exercise. You can try circuit running. Hope this helps and STOP STARVING YOURSELF!!!

    If you’re really 5 foot 9 inches (which equates to 1.7526m), the reason why you’re not losing weight is because YOU’RE ALREADY UNDERWEIGHT. Your BMI is 17.9! To be classified underweight, you have to be below an 18.5 on the BMI calculator.

    Honestly! CHECK YOUR BMI BEFORE TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT!!! :O You seriously shouldn’t try and lose any more weight. It’s not healthy. You’re underweight, you sound like you’re not eating enough (like seriously, a salad for dinner? 0.o), you’re just about at the age of puberty…not a good way to go.

    BUT ANYWAY. I know you’re not here for a lecture, so let’s move on, shall we? :D

    Specific to SNSD (please note that all of them are severely underweight, yeah?)

    Sooyoung’s the tallest, at 170cm. (I did my research, even though I’m not a Sone)
    She weighs 45kg. (Holy crap that’s skinny o_o)
    Her BMI would be 15.6.
    Remember, to be classified underweight, you have to be below an 18.5 on the BMI calculator. That’s…kinda freaky.

    So, to equate that BMI with YOUR height, your “Sooyoung” weight would be 48kg (yes, I bothered spending time calculating it lol xD) which means that to have her BMI with your height, you’d have to weigh 48kgs.

    To get from 55kgs to 48 kgs?
    - It’s going to be really REALLY hard to lose additional weight, since you’re already skinny.
    Keep in mind that SNSD are grown women whereas you’re 13 :|
    - Don’t starve yourself. Eat healthy. Eat enough.
    (If you don’t eat enough, you can actually gain weight! It’s because your body think it’s going into starvation mode and starts storing extra fat for the “famine”. Process of evolution, yeah?)
    - Doing their specific dances isn’t really going to help. Hello, dances are dances, they’re choreographed to appeal to the audience, to PERFORM, they’re not made to be weight-loss workouts xD lol

    Oh, and if you want to be skinny and not muscle-y, don’t overdose on the exercise (just warning, lol) or you’ll bulk up with muscles.

    If I’m going to be honest, I would really not advise you to lose weight. You’re 13 and your weight is perfectly normal. In fact weighing only 55kg is probaly a bit underweight for someone who is 5’9. Plus, its not even healthy to lose 2kg a week, one should only lose around 2-3 pounds a week. Your at that age where your body is developing, so you should just eat healthily and exercise afterwards.

    So 2 biscuits is definitely not enough for breakfast. Breakfast is basically the most important meal of the day and a healthy breakfast should contain protein and fibre. There’s whole grain cereals with low fat milks for example. You are also lacking a lot of proper nutrients in your diet, and water shouldn’t even be considered ‘eating’. However I think its good that you are sticking with salads and fruits in meals but you also need some fish and meat in your diet.

    Anyways, I didn’t mean to be harsh or for that to be a lecture or anything but I just feel that you should eat more. But anyways ~ moving on to the SNSD. What aspect do you mean about wanting a body like SNSD? It can’t be about how long their legs are, considering you’re so tall already, lol. And honestly, judging from your weight, you aren’t too far from them in terms of weight either. But its cool that you like to do their dances, I also tried learning the Genie and Gee dance before. Remember to rest for at least an hour after you eat before you dance, because its not good for you stomach if you dont rest for a while and let the food digest. Oh and if your aim is to burn calories when you dance, I would suggest you do dances with more movement, like f(x)’s NuABO’s dance.

    If you haven’t learned the dances to other SNSD songs besides those two, I would suggest their other title songs such as Gee, Into the New World, Oh!, Run Devil Run, and loads more. But at the same time I have to say, doing their dances won’t make your body more similar to theirs or anything like that.

    I agree with GoodWithWords. You’re only thirteen, and it may not be good for you.

    First of all it’s in genetics. I know you told me to not say this, but it’s true. Asian/Korean bodies mostly have that skinny without being sickly thin kinda look. But I’m going to tell you it’s kind of possible.

    No other exercise but dancing. SNSD doesn’t really have an ‘athletic’ kind of body, more like a dancer’s. Dance for around 20 minutes to an hour a day, with styles of any kind, really. Mostly based on Korean Dances maybe? :)

    Plus – you’re already underweight. Your BMI is 17.9, and that’s underweight. I don’t think you really have to lose weight that desperately.

    This really helps though. THIS is what you MUST do every day for 30 minutes :

    I’m Korean, so it’s in my genetics. You have to have that in you. These exercises will give you somewhat of a similar body to SNSD. That shape of body? No. Everyone has a different body build, and you can’t change that. Skinniness? Maybe. It depends how consistant you are.

    But please don’t overwork your self. You are only thirteen, and you shouldn’t be worrying about weight when you are still going through puberty.

    ummmmm DON’T DIET!!! BUT IF YOU REALLY DO DON’T STARVE YOURSELF!! LOOSE 1LB (.5 KG) A WEEK!!!!! WHICH IS BASICALLY JUST EAT 500 LESS CALORIES A DAY!!!! Also, wait till you stop growing. You gain a lot of weight during puberty but some goes away after you stop growing. Don’t starve yourself at breakfast, if you don’t eat much breakfast, you can get hungrier within 1-2 hours again. Eat foods that are full of fiber. Fiber keeps you full longer. Exercise is also important!!!
    If you want to loose 1lb a week, eat only 1500-1600 calories a day and avoid junk food.

    Honestly as someone who’s actually younger and shorter than you, you don’t have to aim for the perfect “SNSD” body! yes, snsd is skinny, but some of their physical abilities aren’t as great (situps, pushups etc). Loosing weight isn’t what makes you healthier, it’s by exercising and eating right.

    So, if you want to eat healthy and loose weight, for breakfast don’t eat 2 biscuits!!!
    Eat for example (this is my breakfast)

    1 cup skim milk
    1 organic boiled egg (contains protein to give you energy for a long time)
    apple, banana, (some kind of fresh fruit)

    This keeps me going during school for about 5 hours (including P.E.) until lunch.

    Truthfully, If you want to lose weight, only lose .5 kg a week and I reccommend to loose only 1-2 kilograms because according to BMI, being underweight is also scary, especially if it’s not part of your genes!!!!!!

    HOWEVER all celebrities go on a very strict diet and if its hard to stick to a diet for you, there are ways around it

    i oersonally cant eat healthy even though i want to. I go to school, buys snacks, eat junk food at home bc of my 3 younger brothers (lol), dont have time to go pick “organic” foods and all that fancy stuff. like seriously im in HS and i need all the time i can get tofinish my hw and stuff

    BUT i managed to lose about 7 pounds in 1 month last year- which made a significant difference on my outer appearence. im not obese or anything but i just wanted to slim down and have my jeans fit me a little less tight :)

    SO what i did was TRACK MY CALORIES!! if you have an ipod tough or and anything that can download an app, go to the app store and download calorie tracker apps. there are a bunch out there that work great and are FREE

    just track everything you eat in one day- the app i DLed came with a whole plan like my starting weight, how much to lose per week, how long it would take, etc it was great! you really dont realize how much you eat until you look at a long list at the end of the day

    so that helped alot and i only exercised about 30 mins per day, and that wasnt even rigorous excersice

    NOW, since im busier and sometimes forget to plug the foods i ate into the app or write them down, i just skip dinner.

    THIS IS MY SCHEDULE for the past week and i already lost 4 pounds

    6:20 wake up-
    eat breafast- I cup of chobani yogurt (So delicious!!)

    go to school

    12:00 lunch
    either skip and go to library to study, or just buy a small snack like baked lays or a gronola bar.

    HINT- thoughout the day, chew gum or things like that to keep yourself occupied, many people tend to eat when bored********

    3:00 after school snack like chex ix, cerial or teddy grahams brought from home

    TRack practice 3:15- 4:00

    Get home, eat ANOTHER small snack or have a small portion of whatever is for dinner OR skip dinner all together

    It sounds hard and its sounds like i starve myself but i DONT- i actually feel comfortable throughout the day, and i feel good when i go to bed.

    sometimes i break the rule but it doesnt matter, your 13 and im 15- were still kids who need to grow- truthfully u shouldnt even be trying to lose weight at ur age :)

    i know all the celebs look gorgoues esp. korean celebs- but they have TONS of people working for them to make them beautiful, unless youve met them in person, i GUARANTEE they dont look really THAT amazing, although they are pretty which makes them idols

    even Yuri of SNSD said, their legs get more makeup than their faces to hide scars and make them look long and flawless

    Since your tall you should weigh more than others…insted of starving eat fruits and veggies….you can dance but also go for a jog and the gym maybe…the faster the songs you dance to the faster the dance will be( hoot and tell me your wish arent that fast) try songs by f(x) and 4minute??? Dont have links srry but ther on youtube. :)

    korean celebrities are fainting all the time because of malnutrition.
